Masao Fukui is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Boston University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research focuses on Macroeconomics and International Economics, particularly exploring topics such as labor market dynamics, monetary policy, financial frictions, and the impacts of globalization. His work has been published in top journals like the Quarterly Journal of Economics and Review of Economic Studies.
He has contributed to studies on exchange rate depreciations, wage rigidity, and the macroeconomic consequences of central bank interventions.
