Laura Pilossoph is the Kathleen Kaylor and G. Richard Wagoner, Jr. Assistant Professor of Economics at Duke University's Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago (2013). Her research focuses on applied macroeconomics, macro-labor economics, and consumption dynamics, with notable work on gender differences in job search, wage gaps, and the impacts of inflation and fiscal policy. She has published in top journals such as the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the Journal of Applied Econometrics.
