Robert P. Chapuis

Robert P. Chapuis is a Full Professor in the Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, specializing in Hydrogeology. With over 300 technical articles and two influential books on pumping tests and grain size analysis, he has supervised 90+ graduate students since 1987. Previously serving as head of the Mineral Engineering Department before its merger with Civil Engineering, he directs the Hydrogeology and Mining Environment Laboratory and serves as an expert for public agencies and law firms.
