Benoît Courcelles

Benoît Courcelles is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, where he leads a multidisciplinary research program in geotechnical and environmental engineering. His work bridges soil improvement, groundwater remediation, and geothermal energy systems, with a focus on precipitation phenomena in granular media. He co-leads the Chair in Geothermal Energy Integration and the Research Group on Geothermal and Hydrogeology.
