Robert M. Dyer, Ph.D., is a Practitioner-in-Residence at the School of Government of Regent University. He currently serves as the Mayor of Virginia Beach, Virginia, a role he has held since 2018. Previously, he was a City Council member for 14 years and held academic roles including Assistant Professor at Regent University. Dyer has a diverse background as a physical therapist, healthcare executive, and business consultant.
