Robert L. Hester

Robert L. Hester is Billy S. Guyton Distinguished Professor of Physiology and Orthopedic Surgery at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He directs multiple research centers including the Center for Computational Medicine and Physiological Simulations Core.

Research focuses on computational modeling of cardiovascular dynamics, blood flow control mechanisms, and physiological responses in obesity/metabolic syndrome. Experimental approaches integrate mathematical simulation with microcirculatory measurements.
