Dr. Robert Kalmbacher is a retired Professor specializing in Agronomy, Range Management, and Forage Crops, affiliated with the Range Cattle Research and Education Center. His research focuses on pasture and range management in Florida, particularly evaluating new grasses and legumes, optimizing forage utilization, and improving livestock production systems.
Key research interests include the selection and evaluation of introduced forage species, development of sustainable grazing practices, and management of native Florida rangelands. His work integrates both experimental trials and on-farm demonstrations to validate findings.
