Robert Jackson is the Fletcher Jones Professor of Government and International Relations at the University of Redlands, with affiliations at University of Oxford and Carleton University. His expertise spans Canadian, comparative, and international politics, with focus on security studies and parliamentary systems.
Education includes PhD from University of Oxford.
Research examines international security frameworks, NATO operations, parliamentary governance, and political terrorism. Authored 39 books including 'Global Politics in the 21st Century' and 'Politics in Canada'. Current projects analyze children in armed conflict and UN peacekeeping efficacy.
