Judge Robert G. MacDonald, J.D., Senior Lecturer, serves on the Chesapeake Circuit Court and contributes to legal education through his faculty role at the Virginia State Bar Professionalism Course. He earned a law degree from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Virginia Wesleyan College. His judicial career began in 2015 with the Chesapeake General District Court, where he served as Chief Judge until 2020, followed by his appointment to the Circuit Court in 2021.
