Robert Chigangaidze

Robert Chigangaidze is a Lecturer in Social Work/Health and Social Care at Staffordshire University with clinical experience in UK and Zimbabwean mental health systems. He holds an MSc in Clinical Social Work (awarded with University Book Prize) from Midlands State University and BSc in Social Work from University of Zimbabwe.

His research explores humanistic social work through Ubuntu philosophy, COVID-19's impact on vulnerable populations, and anti-oppressive practices. Recent publications critically examine ecospiritual frameworks and clinical applications of Ubuntu principles.

Awards include the University Book Prize for academic excellence. Professional memberships: Registered Social Worker with Social Work England, African Network of Social Workers.
