Robert Böhm is a Professor of Social Psychology in the Context of Work, Society and Economy at the University of Vienna. He leads the Social and Economic Psychology group and serves as director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Social and Behavioural Research in Antimicrobial Resistance (SABRAR). Additionally, he co-founded and co-directs the Antimicrobials: Behaviour and Cognition (ABC) network.

- Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour (IPB): Fellow (2025), focusing on decision-making in global challenges.
He earned his doctorate at the University of Jena (2010) in psychology and behavioural economics. His research explores how individual choices and social dynamics shape responses to global risks like antimicrobial resistance, climate change, and infectious diseases. At IPB, his work investigates risk perception, policy acceptance, and feedback loops between public behavior and governance.
As a fellow at IPB, his project bridges interdisciplinary research and behavioral interventions to address planetary crises. The initiative aligns with IPB’s mission to drive social transformation and enhance policy effectiveness.
