Robert Allen Kimel

Robert Allen Kimel is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Penn State University's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. He joined the faculty in 2002 after earning his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State. Kimel specializes in curriculum development, outcome assessment, and sustainable materials education, with expertise spanning nanomaterials synthesis, ceramics, and chemistry.
