Robbie Duschinsky

Dr. Robbie Duschinsky is a Professor of Social Science and Health at the University of Cambridge. He co-led the largest umbrella review on child maltreatment and mental health outcomes, in collaboration with the National Children’s Bureau.

Research Interests: His work focuses on the associations between child maltreatment (physical abuse, neglect, domestic violence) and mental health difficulties. The study highlights that all maltreatment types have comparable impacts, challenging diagnostic-specific treatment pathways and advocating for transdiagnostic, person-centered approaches in CAMHS and social care.
