Professor Robbie Duschinsky is a sociologist at the University of Cambridge, where he serves as Head of the Applied Social Science Group within the School of Clinical Medicine's Primary Care Unit. He is also Director of Studies in Sociology at Sidney Sussex College and holds the MVST 1A paper Social & Ethical Context of Health and Illness for first-year medical students.
- Co-Principal Investigator of the Wellcome-funded 'Living Assessments' project on child health/social care integration
- Co-PI of the COACHES study exploring mental health provision for children with social work involvement
His research focuses on child and family mental health, health/social care integration, and qualitative methods in primary care, alongside sociological interests in gender, affect theory, and Foucault's legacy. He has supervised 16 doctoral and 17 MPhil students to completion.
