Roar G. Fotland

Roar G. Fotland is an Associate Professor of Missiology and Global Christianity at MF University College of Theology, Religion and Society. His academic career spans over three decades with roles including Dean of Methodist Theological Seminary (1997), Director of Egede Institute (2001-2005), and leader of Methodist Church liturgy committee (2006). He holds a Dr. artium in Religious Studies from University of Bergen (2005) and a Dr. of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington DC (1990).

His research focuses on global missiology, intercultural mission dynamics, and the intersection of primal religiosity with Christianity in Norway.
