Rita Goshert

Rita Goshert serves as a Lecturer in Child Development & Family Studies within the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at California State University, Long Beach's College of Health & Human Services. She maintains an active dual career managing pediatric patient care services while instructing undergraduate and graduate students.

Her educational credentials include:

Her research examines hospitalization experiences of adolescents, pediatric resilience through camp interventions, and built environment impacts on well-being in oncology and surgical settings. She investigates correlations between medical experiences, family relationships, and anxiety reduction through child life programs.
