Jamie Apostol

Jamie Apostol is a Lecturer in the Family and Consumer Sciences Department at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), affiliated with the College of Health & Human Services. She holds a B.A. in Child and Family Studies from San Diego State University and an M.A. in Elementary Education from CSULB.

• Research Interests: Family interaction in multicultural environments, personality development, parenting styles and their effects on children, and children's development according to birth order in the family.
• Professional Engagement: Active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), conducting workshops and webinars on early childhood curriculum and parent involvement.
