Rima Bhattacharyay

Rima Bhattacharyay is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Strategy at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business. She teaches the advanced experiential Strategy capstone course Management Game and researches strategy implementation, family businesses, and corporate governance.

Her interdisciplinary work examines how networks influence entrepreneurs in emerging economies and how cross-listing affects market responses to earnings reports. Recent projects investigate AI's impact on family SMEs, supported by a BNY Mellon Fellowship.

Dr. Bhattacharyay has taught internationally and developed courses on global business strategy. She mentors students in strategic management and advises on experiential learning projects connecting classroom concepts with real-world applications.
