Rikke Carlé is a Research Fellow at Aalborg University Business School, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is affiliated with the Marketing and Market Processes Research Group and holds the academic rank of Research Fellow. Her research focuses on B2B sales dynamics, sales management, and evolving sales roles, employing qualitative methods such as interviews and case studies. Rikke has a dual role in academia and industry, teaching B2B sales theory and practice while actively contributing to academic discourse through publications and presentations.
Her research explores how sales roles adapt to market changes, emphasizing the responsibilities and competencies required in modern B2B environments. She has conducted studies on integrated product-service offerings, future sales competencies, and service excellence. Rikke has participated in the PhD projekt 'salg og salgsledelse' funded by Otto Mønsteds Fond from 2022 to 2025.
Teaching responsibilities include guest lectures at institutions like Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where she covers qualitative research methods and sales skills. She has also engaged in industry collaborations, delivering talks to organizations such as the Tampere Chamber of Commerce. Rikke’s work has been highlighted in media outlets discussing sales strategies, service management, and the evolution of sales competencies.
