Professor Richard Woolley is the Head of the School of Education at the University of Hull, joining in 2021. He previously held leadership roles at the University of Worcester, including Head of the Centre for Education and Inclusion. His career spans primary education, further education, and teacher training, with a focus on inclusion and controversial issues in education. He chairs the QAA Subject Benchmark Review for Education Studies (2024/25).
