Richard William Lindell

Richard William Lindell is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He is a multidisciplinary academic and artist, combining expertise in code craftsmanship with creative practice in electroacoustic music composition and experience design. His research focuses on interaction design, and he actively engages in artistic collaborations such as the Resonance of Darkness II exhibition with Anna Berglind, where he contributes sound pieces using Eurorack modular systems, flute, and bass flute.

His artistic work explores intersections between technology, subculture, and high culture, exemplified by his use of Buchla modular synthesizers during studio sessions at the Royal College of Music. He has released experimental music collections like Études électroniques trois and contributes to immersive audio experiences for art installations.
