Richard Salgado is a faculty member at Harvard Law School, teaching the course 'Modern Surveillance Law' scheduled for Fall 2025. He holds multiple external affiliations including Advisory Board Member of the Tech Law and Security Program at American University Washington College of Law, Senior Associate (Non-resident) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Visiting Fellow on Security and Surveillance with the Cross-Border Data Forum, and Non-Resident Fellow at Stanford Law School's Center for Internet and Society. He also operates a consultancy advising on cybersecurity and surveillance challenges.
His research spans several legal domains:
