Richard Posamentir is a Professor of Classical Archaeology at the University of Tübingen, affiliated with the Institute of Classical Archaeology in the Faculty of Humanities. His research spans Greek funerary art, Ionian pottery, and cultural contacts in ancient peripheral regions, with a focus on Anatolia and the Black Sea.
