Richard Letteri is a Professor of Communication Studies at Furman University. He played a pivotal role in establishing the department in 1996 and served as its first chair. His research focuses on rhetorical theory, political communication, media studies, and comparative cinema between Italy and China. He has led study abroad programs to Turkey, Greece, Italy, and China.
