Richard Koeck

Prof. Richard Koeck is a Professor and Chair in Architecture and the Visual Arts at the University of Liverpool’s Liverpool School of Architecture, and Director of the Centre for Architecture and the Visual Arts (CAVA). He holds a professional degree from Germany and postgraduate degrees from the University of Cambridge. His research integrates space, media, and people to explore future spatial design, leveraging digital and cinematic technologies. He leads major initiatives like the £6.75m UKRI MusicFutures project and has secured grants from bodies such as the AHRC and UKRI. Awards include the Allen, Meek and Read Award (2002, 2004) and DAAD Fellowship (1997).
