Dr. Richard Jagger is a Lecturer in Psychology at the School of Education & Psychology, University of Bolton. He completed his PhD (1993–1997) at the University of Manchester, focusing on developmental aspects of episodic memory and neuropsychology.
- Teaching areas: Biopsychology, Social Neuroscience, Research Methods
His research projects include Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease using EEG Methodology (supported by the Jenkinson's Award) and Social Cognition and Traumatic Brain Injury (collaboration with Dr. Gaber, NHS consultant). He supervises three PhD students and collaborates with Health Innovation, Manchester, and NHS rehabilitation teams.

Dr. Jagger has professional experience in cognitive test development for pharmaceutical drug trials and returned to academia in 2009. He maintains affiliations with national neuropsychological and cognitive research groups.
