Richard Hodges is an Assistant Professor and Director of Voice Studies at Western Washington University's Music Department, joining in Fall 2022. A versatile artist, he specializes in opera performance, composition, and stage direction. His work includes acclaimed roles like the Preacher in Sweet Land and Gianni Schicchi, alongside composing and directing works such as Black Swan Radio Hour and Women of the Black Panthers.
