Richard H. Frankel

Richard H. Frankel is Professor of Law and Associate Dean of Experiential Learning Programs at Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he founded and directs the Federal Litigation and Appeals Clinic. His scholarship focuses on immigration law, prisoner rights, and civil justice systems, with clinic cases spanning employment discrimination, environmental protection, and civil rights litigation.

Research interests include:

• Federal court jurisdiction and access to justice
• Civil procedure reform
• Clinical legal education methodologies
• Consumer protection litigation

As Clinic Director, he oversees student representation of indigent clients in immigration and civil rights matters, with notable appellate victories in employment discrimination and prisoner rights cases. He serves on university committees including the Provost Fellowship program and Drexel Teaching and Learning Center Advisory Board.
