Richard Gehrmann

Richard Gehrmann is a Senior Lecturer in International Studies at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Humanities and Communication. He holds multiple qualifications including a BA (Griffith), MA (Deakin), and MSt (Cambridge). His research spans military history, cultural memory, migration studies, and ethics review processes in humanities research. He has published extensively on topics like Australian military engagement in colonial India, contemporary conflicts in Afghanistan/Iraq, and the role of memorials in shaping collective memory.
