Richard Galvin is a Professor and holds the Betty S. Wright Chair in Applied Ethics at Texas Christian University’s AddRan College of Liberal Arts, Department of Philosophy. He earned his Ph.D. (1983), M.A. (1980) in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Macalester College (1974).
