Richard Anderson-Connolly is a Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Puget Sound, specializing in comparative sociology and electoral systems. He teaches courses on social problems, criminology, and international political economy. His research explores voter behavior, electoral reform (notably instant runoff voting), and social stratification.

Recent Research: He is developing "Economic Foundations for Social Scientists: A Post-Keynesian Approach", aiming to integrate economic theory into social science methodologies. His earlier work includes policy analysis for Pierce County's homelessness strategy and contributions to CounterPunch on electoral politics.
