Rich Stromberg serves as a Lecturer and Graduate Mentor for the Master in Environmental Management (MEM) program at Western Colorado University's Clark Family School of Environment & Sustainability. He holds his MEM degree from Western Colorado University (2018), along with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from University of Texas at Dallas and a BA in Journalism from University of Alaska Anchorage (2008).
Dr. Stromberg specializes in multiple environmental management disciplines, with particular expertise in Global Sustainability, Integrative & Public Land Management, Sustainable & Resilient Communities, and Ecosystem Restoration Education. His work bridges environmental science with practical management approaches across various academic disciplines including Biology, Psychology, Public History, Recreation & Outdoor Education, Sociology, and Politics & Government.
As a Graduate Mentor, Stromberg provides guidance to students across multiple interdisciplinary programs that combine environmental management with other fields of study. His teaching and mentorship focus on preparing students for careers in sustainability and environmental stewardship through both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
