Jun.-Prof. Dr. Riccarda Flemmer is an Assistant Professor in Political Science at the University of Tübingen, leading the 'Political Struggles in the Global South' junior professorship within the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. Her work focuses on indigenous rights, environmental justice, and resource conflicts in Latin America, particularly in the Amazon region. She holds a doctorate from the University of Hamburg and has previously worked at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA).
