Ria Goswami

Ria Goswami is an Assistant Professor of Virology in the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University. Her research focuses on pediatric HIV, early-life immunity, and the role of the microbiome in immune development and viral protection.

Research Interests: Dr. Goswami's work centers on understanding how early-life immune responses can be harnessed to prevent or cure pediatric HIV. She investigates maternal-infant transmission, broadly neutralizing antibodies, mucosal immunity, and the impact of the gut microbiome on vaccine responses and viral pathogenesis. Her research bridges virology, immunology, and developmental biology.
