Rhonda Martens is an Associate Professor and Department Head at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, University of Manitoba. She focuses on robot and cyborg ethics, social network theory, theories of justice, and the history and philosophy of science.
- Education: PhD in Philosophy (University of Western Ontario, 1997), MA in Philosophy (Dalhousie University, 1992), BA in Philosophy (University of Manitoba, 1991)
Her research explores how technology reshapes human relationships and identities, with a focus on ethics in artificial intelligence and cyborg systems. She teaches courses on AI ethics and the history/philosophy of science.
