Rhiannon Pugsley is a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education at Swansea University, specializing in Welsh-medium secondary education and translanguaging practices. She holds a fluent Welsh speaker status and teaches courses such as Research-Informed Reflective Practice: Welsh (EDPM30K). Previously, she served as Assistant Principal at Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera Bro Dur and held roles including Additional Learning Needs Coordinator and Safeguarding Lead. Her expertise spans bilingual education, ALN support, and curriculum design aligned with Wales’ new educational framework.
