Reyes Morán

Reyes Morán is an Associate Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University's Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She holds an undergraduate degree in Spanish Philology from the Universidad de Salamanca (one of Europe’s oldest universities) and a Master's in Hispanic Studies from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes interactive, communicative language instruction to promote active engagement among students.

Her research interests focus on simplifying complex linguistic and grammatical phenomena for non-native Spanish learners, alongside studying 19th-century literature's transition into modernity. She has taught at Salamanca's Cursos Internacionales and currently contributes to Northwestern's Spanish language programs.
