Rex McClure is an Associate Professor at Marshall University's Brad D. Smith Schools of Business, specializing in Marketing, Management Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship. He joined Marshall in 2006 and holds a PhD from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale (2007). Currently serving as a Committee Member for the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee since 2019, he previously lectured at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
His research focuses on marketing strategy, organizational behavior, and educational methodologies. Notable publications include studies on reshoring economic dynamics, market orientation during organizational change, and innovative teaching rubrics. He has received grants such as the Marshall University Core Curriculum Committee award (2009) and the Pritchard Venture Research Award (2008).
Rex actively contributes to academic and community roles, including service on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and leadership at First Presbyterian Church of Huntington as Deacon and Logos Table Parent.
