Ben Eng is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Marshall University’s Lewis College of Business and Brad D. Smith Schools of Business. He serves as executive director and co-founder of the iCenter, focusing on entrepreneurship and business innovation. Eng’s teaching emphasizes real-world business problem-solving, earning him Marshall University’s highest teaching award (Pickens-Queen Teacher Award, 2018) and mentorship recognition (Robert P. Alexander Mentorship Award, 2019).

Research interests span design thinking and celebrity branding, with publications in Journal of Product and Brand Management and presentations at major conferences like the Association for Consumer Research. Eng previously worked at Hollywood’s United Talent Agency, bringing industry expertise into academia. He actively serves on local boards (Developmental Therapy Center, Goodwill of KYOWVA) and supports his alma mater St. Joseph Central High School. His community ties stem from family ownership of Ming’s Restaurant in Huntington, WV, which influenced his business perspective.
