Renée van Schoonhoven

Prof. Renée van Schoonhoven is a Full Professor of Education Law at the Faculty of Law, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, holding dual chair positions in onderwijsrecht met betrekking tot het beroepsonderwijs (vocational education law) and general education law. Her research focuses on legal frameworks enabling transitions in the Dutch educational system, emphasizing vocational education (MBO) and regulatory governance. She actively participates in academic governance as Principal Investigator of the Verduurzaming van publieke waarde door samenwerking project (2020–2022).
