Renata Valree is an Adjunct Professor in the Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding Department at California State University Dominguez Hills. She brings over 25 years of extensive experience in community mediation and dispute resolution to her academic role, with professional expertise spanning public administration, mediation, facilitation, training, program design, and evaluation.

Her work has significantly impacted community relations and policy development in Los Angeles.

Currently, she provides program design, evaluation and coaching services for the State of Indiana, Division of Mental Health and Addiction, while maintaining active roles in multiple professional organizations including the Association for Conflict Resolution and National Association for Community Mediation.
Professor Valree holds a master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Management, both from California State University Dominguez Hills. She has served as a guest lecturer for numerous organizations including the Ohio Peace and Conflict Studies Network, National Association for Blacks in Criminal Justice, and the Center for Community Dialogue and Training.
