Renée Sloos is a Post Doctoral Visitor at the School of Social Work, part of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at York University. Her work focuses on child and youth mental health systems, integration across healthcare, social care, and education sectors, and mental health policy. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, an MSW from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a BSc (Honours) from Trent University.

Her research explores intersectoral collaboration in mental health service delivery, informed by her clinical experience in community-based child and youth mental health care. She aims to identify best practices for enhancing service provider collaboration across sectors to improve youth mental health outcomes.
