Dr. Remus Valsan is a Senior Lecturer in Corporate Law at the University of Edinburgh's School of Law, where he has been teaching since May 2011. He is affiliated with both the Edinburgh Centre for Commercial Law and the Edinburgh Centre for Private Law, and is currently accepting PhD students for research supervision.
Dr. Valsan's educational background includes a Doctor of Civil Law from McGill University, Montreal; a Master of Laws from the University of Alberta, Edmonton; and a Bachelor of Civil Law from Nicolae Titulescu University, Bucharest. He has also served as a visiting researcher at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne and at the European Union Centre of Excellence at the University of Alberta.
