Rekha Sharma

Dr. Rekha Sharma is a Researcher at the Cluster of Excellence livMatS (Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technologies) at the University of Freiburg. Her work focuses on developing novel organic materials to enhance triboelectric charge separation efficiency for energy harvesting applications. She employs advanced techniques like AFM-based force spectroscopy and Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy to investigate material interactions at interfaces.

Her research spans interdisciplinary fields including materials science, electrochemistry, and optoelectronics, with a particular emphasis on organic donor-acceptor conjugates, ferrocene-based compounds, and surface engineering. She collaborates with Prof. Dr. Birgit Esser and contributes to projects like the IDEASfactory@FIT initiative.
