Reinier van Tonder

Reinier van Tonder is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University and Associate Medical Director of the Saint Raphael’s Campus Emergency Department. He also serves as Co-Director of Emergency Ultrasound for Saint Raphael’s Campus and Co-Director of the New England Point of Care Ultrasound and International Yale Point of Care Ultrasound courses. His expertise spans emergency ultrasound, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, and airway management. Dr. van Tonder completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic and an ultrasound fellowship at Yale.
