Reinhard Frötschner, M.A., is a Part-time Lecturer at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich's Faculty of History and the Arts, specializing in the Department of History of Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Since 2000, he has been a research associate at the Institute for East European Studies in Munich, following previous work as an assistant to Prof. Dr. Kämpfer at the University of Münster (1998-2000). He completed his studies at LMU Munich (1988-1994) in History of Eastern/Southeastern Europe, Modern History, and Slavic Philology.
Frötschner's research focuses on Muscovite and Russian cultural-intellectual history, with core interests including:
