Reid F. Thompson

Reid F. Thompson, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and a member of the Knight Cancer Institute. He joined OHSU and the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2016 after completing medical and doctoral training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and residency at the University of Pennsylvania. His work integrates clinical oncology with data science, focusing on precision medicine, immunotherapy, and AI-driven medical imaging. Dr. Thompson’s research also addresses healthcare equity and big data challenges in radiation therapy.
