Shahed Badiyan

Shahed Badiyan, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and Clinical Director of Adaptive Therapy at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He joined as faculty in 2023 after completing a medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School (Alpha Omega Alpha honors), residency at Washington University School of Medicine, and a clinical fellowship at the Paul Scherrer Institute. His research focuses on advanced radiotherapy techniques, including proton therapy, adaptive radiation, and immunotherapy combinations. He has led multiple clinical trials and received the 2014 Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award.
