Regina Goodnow

Regina Goodnow is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science & Public Administration at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her research focuses on democratization, institutional change, women's and minority representation, post-Soviet politics (with emphasis on Russia and Ukraine), and pedagogical practices in higher education. She teaches courses such as POL 202 (Contemporary Global Issues), POL 234 (Comparative Politics), and specialized upper-level courses like POL 331 (Democratization) and POL 334 (Post-Communist Politics).

Dr. Goodnow actively contributed to campus initiatives, including Verification Tent Staffing during Move-In Week in 2021, reflecting her commitment to institutional collaboration and community health. She maintains office hours by appointment and can be reached at rgoodnow@uwlax.edu.
