Regina Deckers

Regina Deckers is a Researcher at the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History, specializing in Baroque sculpture and the history of still life. She studied Art History, Ancient History, and Medieval History at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.

Her research focuses on 17th and 18th-century sculpture and painting in Italy (Rome, Naples, Venice), Germany, and Austria. She contributed to the New Edition of Bellori’s Vite and has been affiliated with the Renaissance Society of America.
